The Tourist (2010)

I can not tell you the story because it is a suspense movie! Not "The Sixth Sense" or "The Others" kind of suspense but still I should not tell you the plot.

Angelina is more than beautiful! I do not think there is any other actress as beautiful as Angelina these days and she can act too!

Johnny Depp is better than the last time I saw him. A little reserved, however. I wished he would act a little bit more than the poker face he had most of the movie. But I will take that over his overacting in Jack Sparrow!

The scenes are taken in Venice. Unfortunately many of them at night and does not show how pretty the city is.

I give the movie 4/5 because it could have used more light and Johnny could have acted a little more.

It's Complicated (2009)

Any movie by Meryl Streep should be good! This one is not an exception. It is a story about en empty nester whose Ex is trying to come back to her except that he is married and she is kind of falling in love with her architect. Meryl is doing a good job as always. Alec Baldwin looks like an alien as always. May be he is really an alien? just a thought! Steve Martin is the nice guy in this movie as always! For once I would like to see Steve playing the villain? No? Not this life time? Please Steve! Please!


The movie is 4.5/5.0 because Alec looks alien!

I don't know how she does it (2011)

Just watched the movie. It is good. 4.5/5.0 good.

Sarah Jessica Parker is doing the speaking to the camera thing like SEX AND THE CITY again. The cast is good and have good lines and the story is not just about Sarah alone. The way I like it. The movie is about how tough it is to be a working mom.

MoMo was her assistant and was written well. Expect more from her in the future.

Friends with Benefits (2011)

I just watched the movie Friends with Benefits, Rated (R). I like it. I give it 4/5.

It is a romantic (but not really a comedy) movie.

Mila Kunis acted nicely. More mature than what she used to do on that 70s Show. Justin was fine. That comment from the Russian journalist that made Mila respond angerily was unjustified. Justin acted nicely (period).

Woody Harrelson role could have been increased in length to make the movie more than just the story of two people discovering they are in love with each other.

Same for Jenna Elfman whose talents were not used in this movie and merely was used so that Justin can say to her why he is not in love with Mila. Jenna deserves more scenes.
